| Project Scope: | The Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) is a state-owned company responsible for the operation of ships and vessels for both domestic and international trade. To ensure the smooth operation of its fleet, BSC needs to manage a large inventory of equipment, spare parts, and other supplies. Previously, BSC managed its inventory manually, which was a time-consuming and error-prone process. The manual inventory management process was also challenging to track, leading to stockouts, overstocking, and inefficient use of inventory. To address these issues, BSC decided to implement an inventory management system to automate inventory-related tasks and optimize inventory management processes. BSC hired Intellier Limited to design, develop and implement its Inventory Management System. The inventory management system has enabled BSC to track inventory levels, manage inventory effectively, and ensure that the right equipment and supplies are available when needed. |
