Business Development Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Officer – Female to drive our growth in the public and private sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government sector, excellent networking skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of public sector procurement. This role will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities in public and private sector.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2/3 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding new projects, targeting potential clients, steering sales.
  • Managing accounts and Client relationships.
  • Monitor government procurement portals and databases for relevant EOI’s, RFPs, RFQs etc.
  • Have to identify potential leads through networking, calling, social media or other sources in the assigned entities.
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up business meetings
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Planning and preparing presentations for potential clients.
  • Responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of the organization’s revenue operations and accountable for the performance of revenue functions within the organization.
  • Create a sales pipeline, carry out sales forecasts, analyze and present the findings to senior management.
  • Communicate new product/project developments or partnerships to prospective clients
  • Prepare business proposals, project documentations and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Communicate technical requirements to the development/technical team based upon the feedback collected from the market
  • Attend fairs, Seminars, events.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have proven track record in Business Development in public and private sector.
  • Must have experience in onboarding new projects, targeting potential clients, steering sales.
  • Must have ability to identify and close specific sales/project opportunities with targeted entities.
  • Must have strong knowledge in Presentation, documentation and Excel.
  • Must have ability to present business proposal to prospective clients/customers.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
  • knowledge of government procurement policies.
  • Having experience & network with various relevant associations is a plus.
  • Professional communication skills in both Bengali & English.
  • Team player & positive learning attitude.

Other Information:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Job Location: Kawran Bazar, Dhaka
  • Job Nature: Full–Time
  • Office Hours: 09.00 AM-06.00 PM
  • Working Day: 05 days (Sunday-Thursday)
  • This position may require travel for meetings and attend industry events.
